Private Pilot License

  • Ground Training : 186 Hours
  • Flight Training : 39 Flying Hours
  • Completion of a Class 2 Medical
  • English Language Proficiency to DGCA minimum requirements

On completion of the Privot Pilot License (PPL) a student can fly alone with passengers, by day, anywhere in Indonesia in visual flight conditions.Conversion from the Indonesian PPL to another ICAO license is relatively easy when the student returns home. The Private Pilot License is recreational purposes, skydiving flights and glider tug towing. Privot Pilots are limited to non commercial category operations.

1. Flying
  • Dual - Flight training with an instructor.
  • Solo - Flight training in which the student acts as the pilot-in-command

2. Flight Tests
  • General Flying Progress Test and Flight test for PPL

3. Theory
  • Basic Aeronautical Knowledge where the books will be provided by BIFAand examination will be conducted in-house, as well as, DGCA.

Multi Engine Rating

  • All theory classes are completed by qualified ground instructors. This is included in the course fee. 

4. DCGA Multi-Engine Rating Issue

All requirements for the issue of licenses are included in the course fee. Should the student require additional training to meet the requirements for license testing, and then an additional cost may be incurred. This shall be passed on to the student. This rarely occurs, and usually a result of insufficient study or being unprepared.

Ground Airline Transport Pilot License (G-ATPL)

228 hours (approximately 6 weeks).

  • Class 1 Medical

Airlines require a superior level of aviation knowledge and understanding from their pilots. The Ground ATP course has been approved by the DGCA and prepares students for the DGCA ATP exams. Students will receive the aeronautical knowledge airline pilots are required to have and, with this knowledge, students can confidently write the DGCA's ATP test when they are ready. A certificate will be issued at the end of the course.
