The Bali International Flight Academy (BIFA) was established in Bali in 2009, with the vision of imparting quality aviation training in order to produce world class aviation professionals while conforming to stringent ICAO requirements of flight safety.

Since its inception, over 787 students have graduated from BIFA’s various training program. Over 650 of our graduates have been absorbed and employed by the Indonesian national flag carrier, Garuda while sizeable number of our graduates are employed by other Indonesian airlines such as Air Asia, Sriwijaya Air, Citilink, Lion Group. Also air charter operators like TransNusa, Susi Air, Travira Air etc.

The BIFA campus is nestled amongst gentle slopes in the laid-back regency of Buleleng, Bali, and Banyuwangi. All our training facilities are in close proximity to each other within the campus which is increases the efficiency of our training. Modern facilities needed for effective and quality learning, such well-equipped classrooms, simulators, library, etc. are provided. Additionally, recreational facilities like a swimming pool, gymnasium, canteen, volleyball court, high speed wireless connection etc. are available on campus. Air conditioned dormitories on Buleleng and Banyuwangi campus can accommodate 100 students.

Our students are trained at multiple airports in order to gain valuable experience in a wide variety of flying environments. In addition to Lt. Col Wisnu Airport in Buleleng, our students also train at the Tjilik Ruwut Airport in Palangkaraya, Kalimantan and at the Banyuwangi Airport in Banyuwangi, East Java.

BIFA is committed to providing a quality learning experience within a safe environment, thereby producing highly skilled, dedicated and professional pilots who are ready to be employed by commercial aviation companies. Students who graduate from BIFA will be more than merely aviation academy graduates as BIFA also actively focuses on the leadership, discipline and cockpit management skills required for pilots to excel in the aviation industry.

BIFA has the necessary facilities to train over 100 pilots annually and we maintain an excellent relationship with several reputable commercial aviation companies and our courses are tailored as much as possible in order to meet the requirements of these organizations who could potentially be future employers of our graduates.
